The Fieldhouse is a great venue for weddings, anniversaries, memorials, graduations, meetings, birthday parties and celebrations of all kinds.

The Fieldhouse is managed by volunteers of The Crichton Community Council. All proceeds from bookings are reinvested into the Fieldhouse, neighbouring facilities and community events. ​​​

cost
Booking fees are $35 per hour with a minimum reservation of 3 hours. The Fieldhouse is available at no cost to not-for-profit groups or individuals offering community oriented events, especially public events open to all at no cost and for where no revenue-generating activities occur.

Payments can be made online, by cash or cheque made out to Crichton Community Council.

Bookings are considered on a first come, first served basis.
The Fieldhouse has limited availability during the skating season, from late December through the early March. The Fieldhouse is open to the public during skating hours.
facilities
Equipped with tables and chair to seat 40 people. The maximum capacity is 125 people. (Groups exceeding 50 people must rent additional portable toilets since the plumbing system cannot handle the volume.) While pandemic limitations mandated by the Province of Ontario are in effect, the capacity is limited to 15 people. The main room is approximately 29’ x 30’ (with adjoining storage areas). A kitchen is equipped with a fridge, oven, microwave and coffee machine. Cutlery and dishes are not available. Male and female washrooms are accessible.
alcohol
Alcohol is permitted with the necessary permits that you must apply for through the LCBO. Please visit the LCBO's website for more information.
cleaning
Bookings must include time for you to set-up and clean-up for your event. All those using the Fieldhouse must leave the Fieldhouse as it was found (or better). Please clean the facility and leave it ready for the next booking which might follow immediately after your own. Be sure to remove all decorations and food when you leave.
